On behalf of the Rollins Ambassadors, I welcome all to Atlanta and specifically to the Rollins School of Public Health at Emory University. I want to start off by saying that driving in Atlanta can be a scary and daunting idea, at least it was for me initially. A quick note about myself, I grew up on the outskirts of Augusta, Ga in Appling where we recently had our first stop light installed only a few years ago. Needless to say, I needed a little time to adjust to Atlanta’s traffic patterns. After all, the only traffic delays I was accustomed to were caused by local farmers on the road with their tractors!
However, a few tips I wanted to share about driving in Atlanta:
1.
2.
3. Think of Atlanta driving like those simulation games, weaving and dodging the potholes!
I encourage you (prospective students) to consider Rollins as the destination for your future education! Rollins has offered abundantly more in terms of the education, work opportunities, and fun than I ever imagined. I would love to connect with you, prospective students, and share more about my experiences here at Rollins!
